Your comments continue to be irrelevant in the context of this video. If you want to discuss physics or spout off about just how much of a genius you are (or aren't) then do it elsewhere.

jesus I would assume you would know this: but heres a lesson you may have missed in 1seesmter freshman phsycis. the others were already linked long ago with the weak force, and the strong was recently added to the list. so when ppl say "unify the nuclear forces with gravity", they assume you include all
asdfuaenfuinfcv (July 2, 2008 at 7:59 am)
Didn't say I was a string theorist. In fact, my line of work is femtosec lasers and their relevance to raman enhanced spectroscopic imaging. Which can save people's lives. Whereas string theory does not. Besides, the whole point is that it unifies all 4 forces not just the 2 nuclear. It doesn't change anything. The universe is as it is. Until you find a way to make string theory applicable in the every day lives of those living and dying in Iraq, I suggest you keep your opinions to yourself.
slovakmath (July 2, 2008 at 7:43 am)
I said "may", and it is very relevant. everyone becomes a cocktail party string theorist, and you are simply an example of one. plus this is the entire point of a unified theory, you are saying that nearly 1/10 practicing physicists and mathematicians at uni work on a theory which will link the strong/weak forces with gravity, yet you come off saying that it is irrelevant to the real world. what world do you live in, and if that is irrelevant then what on earth is?
crowman131 (July 2, 2008 at 5:58 am)
put it this way , if the US was invaded by russia , evry so called patriotic american would fight , thats how it is in iraq , u go there the missions accolplished now you're still there so wtf is up? anwyay i dont give a shit i ahte arguing about this bullcrap ,stupid americans lol

You've got to be kidding. Even undergrad physics majors laugh at titles like that because we all know ridding a theory of one anomaly actually means nothing. Besides, sitting in your office reading Scully or some comparable text all day and letting a comp run your simulations does not do anything to change the world. Trying to reconcile superstring theory doesn't mean shit in the real world and you and me and every other PHD holder in physics knows that.

God bless Blackwater.....and I say, Kill all those damn sand niggers and let God sort them out.
