Does anyone know the name of the guy on the right?

this tchnique is very good when you're able to get close as it gives you possibilities to catch the stick or the hand or wrist. meaning, do the blocking of the stick and catching simultaneously. but this needs lots of proctice and drills.

Yes, there is Balintawak influence in our system (Presas, Taboada & Atillo)!

Great display of disarms. These disarms do work depending on how you train. The key is recognizing the variations of attack since there's so many of them, then apply the disarm. Some of your movements looks like GM Taboada's video, did you train with him?

holy shit! this dude knows many ways of disarming! i can only do the twist, i mean to twist the opponent's stick to disarm the weapon, and from what i can recall, the stick isn't only just a weapon, it is a training tool and a reaction tool. good thing a stick can be found anywhere! neat! anyway... behind the two could where the two guys are sparring must be learning the 12 basic strikes isn't it? enough talk for now... keep arnis alive and still do your best! two thumbs up to all of you!
