YES I've been wondering what the actual name of this piece is for a long time now; I have an arrangement of it entitled called "Norwegian Concerto," but it's not quite as epic as this version.

Very fine sensitive solo playing & well considered interpretation.Boomy sound lets u down a little,of course and, in my experience the piano2(orchestra)part always needs some re-writing to blend better,as in most concerto "accompaniments".Enjoyed it. Bravo!

This is amazing (it's not easy to play a concerto by memory, as the soloist seems to be doing). However, the full orchestral version sounds better to me. But the echoing in this video might be degrading the quality of the music.

karlschlaussenTo me this was an awesome performance of a favorite of mine.Been a Greig fan for 50 plus years. Still cant play a note let alone read one but I sure do appreciate all who can. Sure is an improvement on some of the stuff I hear on radio and TV.Just makes my day.
