i'm not a Yankee fan,but i love seeing all the history that is associated with them,especially from the 1920's through the 1960's. baseball history always goes through the Yankees.

i respect and love the yankee history, and i know a lot about it, even though im only 15. But I do not like them, because of what they have become. They have become the superpower of baseball, the rich snobs that basically HAVE to win. It seems like if the Yankees don't win, then baseball isn't right. All the yankee fans complain when they dont win. Also, enough is enough when it comes to their history, because it seems like thats all that Yankee fans rely on to say that their team is great.

Babe Ruth,Lou Gehrig and Tony Lazzeri. The big three of 1927. The reason why there is so many Yankee hater's is because they were either not born or old enough to have a real appreciative respect and concept of the intense history of this team. It is impossible describe something 30 years ago in 1977 when I first followed them or before my time some 60 years ago when people saw the team 10,20,30... times better than even 1977,1996 or even 1998.
