A lot of things factor in. He was said to have not good enough stamina, and there's a lot of Korean middies that are better like Park Ji-Sung from Man. U. Still he should be on the KNT at least a sub. A great finishing player to have with Park and he'll definetely feed the strikers. He's a like a quick boost at the end.

He is one of the unfortunate players who were born in Korea. Unlike Argentina or France, Korea national soccer team has never been used to use a play maker who controls the flow of the whole team. I think he also he got seriously injured on his knee when he was having a amazing time as a soccer player. People all over the world used to consider him as the one of the expected world-class player including Henry when he was a teenager

he WAS in the korean natinoal team before... but he was not needed at that time becos there were too many other midfielders in the national team.. |
